Top 10 global refractories enterprises by revenue in 2025

2026-05-30

May 29, 2026 - The latest 2025 revenue ranking of global refractory enterprises, compiled by industry data platform Refractories Window (Refwin) from corporate financial reports and multiple other sources, has been released, showing a clear tiered pattern among the world's top 10 players focused on refractory core business.

Per the ranking, the first tier is led by industry giant RHI Magnesita, which holds a clear leading advantage over other top 10 participants. Following RHI Magnesita, Vesuvius takes the second spot in the first tier, maintaining a significant revenue gap over the following players, cementing the duopoly pattern of the first echelon.

The second tier comprises Calderys and Saint-Gobain, both of which delivered stable revenue performance that places them well ahead of the third tier, forming a competitive group of mid-tier leading players with close overall scale.

The third tier includes Morgan and Krosaki Harima. While their revenue scale is lower than that of the second tier, they still hold obvious advantages over the players in the fourth tier, maintaining a stable position in the global market.

The fourth tier, made up of the remaining four participants, includes Shinagawa, Refratechnik, POSCO Future M and Beijing Lirr. Players in this tier are in close contention, with revenue gaps between adjacent ranks being extremely narrow. Among them, Chinese enterprise Beijing Lirr rounded out the top 10, marking the presence of Chinese players in the global top 10 ranking of pure-play refractory enterprises.

It is worth noting that this ranking only covers enterprises focused on refractory core business. For some enterprises, the revenue figures are calculated and estimated based on the proportion of their refractory business segments. This approach allows the ranking to reflect the competitive landscape of the professional refractory market more accurately. At present, the head effect of the global refractory industry is obvious, and the tiered competition pattern is expected to remain stable in the short term, with technological upgrading and green transformation becoming the main direction for players to improve their competitiveness.
